Meet Marlon

As a Wealth Advisor, Marlon specializes in pursuing the financial needs of working women, working with them to create a financial plan tailored to their life.

Marlon is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®, which gives him rigorous training to help clients plan and navigate their retirement. Marlon has nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry and brings an abundance of knowledge to his role at Wealth Standard Financial.

A graduate of the University of North Texas, Marlon hails from Dallas. He is adept at asking purposeful questions and listening closely to the answers clients give. In return, he provides proactive, goal-oriented advice.

The proud father to two adult children, Marlon also enjoys his two grandchildren.

He is actively involved in the Houston community, after spearheading the reactivation of the University of North Texas alumni chapter here in Houston, he serves as the Vice President. He is also a former national board member with INROADS, Inc. and is currently Vice President of the local INROADS/Houston alumni chapter.

Outside the office, Marlon is an avid golfer who has traveled to 12 states (and Mexico) to golf.
